This series, consisting of two sculptures and a moving image work, explores Guizhou’s minority culture, identity, and feminism. By combining traditional Miao silver craftsmanship with mass-produced imitation pearls, the artist initiates a multidimensional dialogue on the intersection of heritage and contemporary consumer culture, as well as the evolving roles of women in different social contexts.
